Here is a tasty eco-friendly meatloaf recipe we found for your Manor Lake Australian Labradoodle in Bark Magazine.
You will need-
- 2lbs of ground meat
- 1 cup of cooked organic oatmeal (We prefer a minimally processed steel-cut whole-grain oat, like Irish oatmeal.)
- 3/4 cup of organic flaxseed meal
- 1/2 cup of fresh organic parsley, finely chopped
- 2 large organic eggs
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic (Start with this amount and add more if you like.)
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen organic vegetables (Use a variety of vegetables, such as peas, corn, diced cooked potatoes, and grated carrots; do not include onions.)
01. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and place the oven rack in the middle slot. Mix all the ingredients together with your hands. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, or use a 13-by-9-inch baking dish and form a loaf in the center. Bake for 1 hour.
02. Feed according to your Australian Labradoodle’s size and calorie needs. Let their appetite be your guide. If after a week or so your Australian Labradoodle seems to be losing weight, feed them more; if they gain weight, cut it back a bit.
Bon Appetite!
