Dog Jam Dog Surfing Contest
July 11 • Huntington Beach, Calif. 9 a.m.–10 p.m. This doggie surfing contest and red carpet Gala event at the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach is being held to benefit the Orange County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. You can sign up to compete for a small fee or just come down to watch the show for free and have a good time at the beach. Check out surfinpaws.com for info and registration.
Dog Days of Summer Benefit
July 16 • Sun Valley, Ida. 5:30 p.m. at Trail Creek Pavilion. The Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley Benefit Dinner, will include an auction and raffle.
