Update on Manor Lake Brody

Tuesday, January 14th, 2014

Brody is doing great and it’s getting a little easier each day to find our schedule and rhythm.  The first two weeks were not always easy but his cuteness and sweetness helped get us through those moments.  He received a new toy today to celebrate his 12 week milestone and he starts puppy class next week.  House breaking is going well as long as we take him out on schedule and he is sleeping thru the night in his crate from 10pm until 6 – 6:30am which we are pretty happy about :-).  He has picked up commands very easily and with the help of some kibble, does well during bath time and brushing/grooming.

Here are a couple of photos I took last week.

Thanks again.

Update on Manor Lake Charlie Grace!

Thursday, December 26th, 2013

Sorry for the delayed response-4 kids and a new puppy have taken all my time!Things are going very well here.. Charlie Grace is probably the most loved puppy around! She is so well adjusted, and smart! We’ve only had her a week and she already goes to the door to go outside, and can sit on command. She loves her toys, and her naps! We are so impressed with her.  She absolutely loves the snow! I’ve never seen anything like it-she fits right in 🙂 Having her already crate trained prior to coming home was, by far, the greatest thing ever! She sleeps so perfectly at night and doesn’t make a peep, and has no anxiety at night, or when we leave her during the day-so THANK YOU!

I have attached a few pictures of her first couple days home 🙂

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for updating us on your little Charlie Grace! It’s amazing how quickly they learn, isn’t it? We have only had a small snowfall here in Washington, so I am glad that she gets to experience her first snow with you and your family and that’s great she loves it! It sounds like she is adjusting so well to her new home and your wonderful family, which makes us so incredibly happy. Give her lots and lots of hugs for us!

Update on Manor Lake Madison!

Wednesday, December 4th, 2013

Hi all…I keep forgetting to send you some pictures of Madison.  She is such a joy and delight and enchants everyone she meets (2 legged and 4 legged alike). She’s now 5 1/2 months and is quite well behaved…although we do have to watch things like socks on the floor which is always preferable to her many toys spread throughout the house.

warm regards,

Janet and Bruce

Manor Lake’s Bruco at the Beach!

Monday, September 9th, 2013

Hi there,

Here is an updated picture of our boy, Bruco who is now 5 mos old!  He loved life at the beach and couldn’t resist rolling around in some dead, stinky clams and he seemed quite proud of his new aroma – ha ha!  He is such a love

– a true mama’s boy – and he loves to snuggle into me when I pick him up.

He’s been quite easy to train with basic commands but potty training took us a little while :).  He is now our little guard buddy and I think it’s so cute how he feels protective of the house when he hears or sees people outside.  His personality is to be a bit reserved with new people and dogs but he comes around much quicker now and seems to be more confident.  We are so happy with him and fall more in love with him every day.

Thank you!

Michelle-Thank you so much for sending us an update on Bruco! It’s amazing how fast they grow, isn’t it? I bet that was quite the lovely smell he had, but at least he was enjoying himself! 🙂 That’s great that he’s such a mama’s boy and I remember him being quite the snuggler! He sounds like he’s adjusting to your family and new home very well and I’m so glad to hear all is going well. Give Bruco a hug from us and of course we’d love to see more pictures of him as he gets older. Thank you again!
